We added tolerances to all of the finger joints, increasing all valleys .005" and arranged the parts to fit on the plates of acrylic we purchased.
Tuesday of this week we will laser cut all of the parts. This weekend the chassis will be assembled and the programming will be modified to account for additional sensors. The plan for this is to modify the programming in 4 stages:
- Original control code modified for additional stepper motors.
- Code is added to read a crudely display sensor data.
- Code is added to allow for autonomous stair climbing.
- Basic sensor code is modified to allow for a refined GUI.
